Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of KiddoDesk, a childcare management platform owned and operated by Turn Byte LLC ("KiddoDesk", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

KiddoDesk provides attendance check-in/out, daily activity logging, parent communication, scheduling, invoicing, and payment tools for childcare providers. KiddoDesk is a software tool: we do not provide childcare, and the provider remains solely responsible for the supervision and safety of children in their care, for verifying the identity of pickup persons, and for compliance with licensing, ratio, and record-keeping laws in their jurisdiction.

2. Accounts & acceptable use

• You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in email secure.
• Providers must have the legal right (including parental consent) to enter the child and family data they store in KiddoDesk.
• No unlawful use, no attempting to access other workspaces' data, no reselling the service without our written consent.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• New workspaces receive a free trial; afterwards the service is billed per enrolled child per month at the price shown at checkout, charged via Stripe.
• The billed quantity syncs to your active enrollment. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Payments from parents to providers are processed through the provider's own Stripe account; we are not a party to, and not responsible for, provider–parent payment disputes.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and display it to operate the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. On account deletion we remove your workspace data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep by law.

5. Availability & disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep KiddoDesk available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and features that depend on third parties (payments, email, push delivery, accounting sync, device hardware such as NFC or cameras) may vary by device and provider. Attendance records, reminders, and notifications are aids — not a substitute for the provider's own supervision and legal record-keeping obligations.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Turn Byte LLC's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the acts or omissions of childcare providers, parents, or pickup persons.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for children or other users, or fail to pay, with notice where practicable.

8. Changes & contact
